Bike (accessory) Fair 2024

Do you have a bike that got too small or that you’re simply not using any more? Or a bike accessory which is no longer of use to you? Free your basement or hallway and let somebody else enjoy it! Bring it in for sale as from Tuesday the 10th of September, at the next CyCLO Bike and Accessories Fair at 22 rue du Miroir, right in the Marolles.
Looking for a bike, a child seat or an extra bike lock? Come and check out the harvest on Saturday the 14th!

WHICH BIKE CAN I SELL?
Which bike can I sell? CyCLO accepts all non-electric bicycles (adult and children’s bikes, folding bikes, mountain bikes, race bikes, city bikes…), provided in an operational state. We only accept bikes of a significant value if presented with a proof of purchase. CyCLO reserves the right to refuse bicycles*. On our website you can find out more about other options for your unused bike(s) (only in French and Dutch).
* For example: We do not accept certain bikes from large retailers whose broken brakes cannot be repaired, or bikes for which the repair costs exceed the estimated (re)sale price, or when there are too many bikes of the same type.
WHAT ACCESSORY CAN I SELL?
CyCLO accepts the following accessories if in good shape: panniers, clean rain pants/rain jacket and cycling clothes, lights, water bottle holder, basket, bell, pump, luggage rack, child seat + adapter, trailer with attachment, tracking bikes, rack, home trainer, bike cap, lock (2 keys minimum), garage bike rack, saddle, cell phone holder, multitool.
Unfortunately you can NOT sell the following accessories: helmets, electronic devices (computer, GPS, go pro, etc.), bike parts (handlebars, wheels, pedals, frame, etc.,), anti-pollution masks, batteries or battery chargers for electric bikes, car bike carriers, tires.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Upon arrival, a technical team inspects the bike or accessory and gives an estimate of its value, condition and possible repairs. Together, we fill in a technical sheet and determine a reasonable price for your bike or accessory. (This year, there is no possibility of setting a sale price if your bike has not been sold.)
WHEN TO BRING IN?
Tuesday 10/9, Wednesday 11/9, Thursday 12/9, Friday 13/9 (3pm-7pm)
AND AFTERWARDS?
If your bike or accessory has been sold, you'll receive a text message and you'll be transferred the amount on your bank account within 14 days.
Your item has not been sold? You can collect your bike or accessory on Tuesday 17/9 between 3pm and 7pm. Please note that if you do not collect it, it will be considered as a donation to CyCLO.

WHICH BIKE CAN I BUY?
CyCLO accepts any non-electric bicycle that functions well. We will determine its condition with a technical checklist. However, it’s difficult to determine in advance the quantity, quality and type of the bicycles, as this depends on the bike seller's offer. By experience we especially see city and children bikes coming in and also a modest choice of race and mountain bikes.

TECHNICAL DATA SHEET
A technical data sheet attached to the bike provides information on its characteristics and various points such as price, condition and repairs to be carried out. This sheet has been filled in by CyCLO and the price has been determined fairly.
TEST RIDE
In exchange for your identity card, you can test the bike outdoors (do so!).
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Once the bike or accessory of your dreams has been found and payment has been made, CyCLO will draw up the sales document and you will become the owner of your new bike or accessory. We accept cash and contactless card. Please note that there is no guarantee on the bikes or accessories sold.

WHEN?
Bringing in (a) bike(accessory/ies) is possible between Tuesday the 10th and Friday the 13th of September between 3PM and 7PM.
The big sale is on Saturday the 14th of September from 11AM to 4PM.

IN BRIEF
- The bikes need to be able to ride well (but might need some repairs).
- The accessories need to be in good condition
- There is no guarantee on the bikes or accessories sold.
- It’s not a fair for bike parts (except for saddles)
- CyCLO doesn't get any commission on the items being sold.
